Lt. Richard Bryan Robinson
About the Author
Lt. Richard Bryan Robinson, retired from the Memphis Police Department, always had an interest in guns. But he was pained because so many children were getting hurt or killed by guns. He created EBONY AND TYRONE in a coloring book for little kids so that they could get the message about guns and what to do if they found one at home.

VERSIONS OF THE BOOK
Our children’s books are available in English and Spanish. Hopefully we can get this book into the hands of minority children in elementary school as well as in daycares, so children can learn what to do if they find a gun at home.
Testimonials
What our customers write about us
As a father of two young boys, I’m always looking for ways to protect and educate them. This book has been a game-changer in our home. It explains such a serious topic in a way that’s easy for kids to understand without scaring them. My oldest son even brought it up during a safety discussion at school, which made me so proud. Knowing they have the tools to handle dangerous situations gives me peace of mind as a parent.
I never thought I’d need to teach my kids what to do if they found a gun, but after seeing a story on the news, I realized how important this conversation is. This book made it so much easier to have that talk. The illustrations are engaging, and the steps are simple for kids to remember. My daughter now knows exactly what to do if she’s ever in that situation, and I feel more confident as a mom knowing she’s prepared.
